Ourselves

In August 2006, more than 200 pilgrims over 20 countries spread in 5-paths, we walk for 4 days to find ourselves in Santiago de Compostela. In this first encounter and enthusiasm to continue the path and reunion we call it the Path of Universal Man.

We carry out the path carrying a White rose as a symbol of peace, on arrival to Santiago Cathedral, each according to their own desire, takes the rose in offering to the Chapel Santa Maria, in the old corticela of the Cathedral. So gesture a true Universal consciousness and drive, which on arrival Santiago became explosion of joy and sincere feeling of peace. The following year 500 pilgrims walked for 5 days under the name of  Universal March to Santiago de Compostela.

In 2007 it is constituted the Foundation Universal March to Santiago de Compostela to promote the paths. Since then, each summer we make this encounter in Santiago de Compostela, it already extends to other cities wishing to walk in this spirit and heart: Barcelona, Lleida, Madrid, Gran Canaria, Segovia, Avila, Oviedo, Santander, Vitoria, Malaga, Seville, Valencia, Tenerife, Lanzarote. Also in other countries such as: Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Chile, Serbia, France, USA, China, and Mexico.

At present, the Association «Universal March to Santiago de Compostela» keeps alive the spirit of this project for humanity.
